A live action music video indie game about the Irish Traveller Culture. It is based on the internet epoch and the greed to gain more followers and likes, so we created a giphy, nervous motion language for the game and its branding. The diagonal is fast and strives for more. Contrast to the animation is a clear fashion magazine design which highlights skilled characters like celebrities. The game interface and graphics remain silent in the foreground, so that the background can go crazy and wild.
Game idea and Direction: Katharina Muske
Lead Code and Game Design: Christian Greitmann
Production: Philipp Monjoie

3D Animation: Lukas von Berg

Design for the annual German Short Film Award.
Film itself shapes the concept. When a movie is reduced to its essence, only lighting situations and props of films might be left. Choreography of elements and pace inform an overall cinematographic moment.

Balancing didactic and the abstract to illustrate a new alternative era of drop shipping. The symmetric setup makes it both run on full HD and instagram square format.
Opening shot for the short movie MEETING WITH A STRANGER. A matte painting made out of found motel images and atmospheres convey a both photorealistic and surreal look at the same time.

Design for the 8th reception of Filmschools during the Berlinale. We were asked to make the Event Design and the Branding Package. It is playing with German wordplays and metaphors plus a provocative sense for lengths in film. Balancing the alternative look with plain commercial graphics on top defines a highly ironical package.

Together with my fellow Moril Gnoyke I created visual content for the nice guys from Frischvergiftung during the Electrique Baroque Festival. It was a great experience projecting on a huge Baroque castle with a massive light setup.
„FUNKTION“ shows the extraction of simple daily life functions under the microscope.
It begins with the push of a button, the alarm clock rings, going downstairs, sitting on a chair and having breakfast, hurrying to work by bus or car. Everything seems to be harmonious until the little function is being manipulated and the „K“ removed by a pincet. Instead of keeping the choreography, the function doesn’t work anymore and involves an explosion. The whole abc appears on screen. New letters are shown which weren’t known before. Nobody knows what happens when you manipulate things like our goooood fruits and vegetables.
The abc in completion is representative for all possibilities which could happen. Furthermore the abc and its letters are used to tell a story with their shape and attribute.

Alternative Title Sequence for the hungarian subway Thriller KONTROLL.
My decision led to a live action based title sequence using projection techniques and light as a language. It creates an abstract collage of feelings known from subway experiences with an electric analogue taste and its dense fragrance.
Main actor is an escalator taking us to a journey leading to the underground.

Manuel Kreuzer is a Designer and Art Director from Passau - my home town - specialized in typography. For each event in the city, he created a free poster and offered it for public use. As he hits Passaus tonality in a remarkable way by creating a typographical face, I saw a potential in this project to conclude with a final poster animation.
One day we met and this is my contribution in animation and post direction to support this idea. Andreas Pfeiffer joined the project and created a narrative music sound mixture from scratch.

PARA-PARA is a conceptual platform born after my stay as an Artist in Residence at Atelier Anton Kirchmair. A place to ask questions and experiment without critics. Together with musicologist and film music composer Chiara Strickland we created a pilot project for a final presentation at the atelier.
